I'm 24 years old and a full time graduate student from a small town in Pennsylvania. At the age of 20 I lost the love of my life in Afghanistan, so as a "war widow" this is my way of talking to him every day. We were high school sweet hearts and spent the last 5 years together. Josh was a Marine for over 3 years stationed out of Camp Lejeune, North Carolina. He lost his life fighting for our country on September 2, 2010. I'm on a journey to figure out my life after we already had one planned. Where to go, what to do, and waiting for the day until I see him again.
These pictures need to words, they speak for themselves. They say everything that needs to be said and anything that someone would want to say. They are very moving pictures.
You're right, there are no words needed. This is a post full of life, full of love, full of joy, & also full of honor & respect.
ReplyDeleteThank you for sharing these with us. Much love to you, boo
